Hertie School Professor of Energy Policy Lion Hirth has been selected by politik&kommunikation, a well-known political communication publication in Germany, to receive the 2023 Young Thinkers Award. The award recognises 15 promising young experts who are making excellent contributions to their respective fields while also shaping political and social discourse in Germany, catching the attention of the media and politics alike. Hirth received the award for his contributions in the field of economic policy.
The awardees were selected by a panel of renowned experts from politics, business, media, science and society. The Young Thinkers will be featured in the May issue of politik&kommunikation and were recongised at an awards ceremony in Berlin on 22 May 2023.
