This a Rule 9 submission concerns the implementation of the M.K. and others vs Poland judgment to the European Court of Human Rights
Dr Grażyna Baranowska, Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Fundamental Rights, together with Dr Maybritt Jill Alpes, Dr Joyce De Coninck, and Sofia Barakou from the Human Rights Centre of the University of Ghent, filed a Rule 9 submission concerning the implementation of the M.K. and others vs Poland judgment to the European Court of Human Rights.
The submission concerns the non-acceptance of asylum claims at the Polish-Belarusian border in 2016 and 2017. It highlights a significant deterioration of the situation since the delivery of the judgment, as well as regressive legal developments contrary to the general measures required by M.K. and others vs Poland.
