Vineet John Samuel is a Doctoral Candidate at the Hertie School, where he studies the economic and social impacts of the platform economy on developing nations. Vineet holds a Master in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University, and completed his under graduation at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He was a German Chancellors Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for the year 2020-2021, prior to which he was the Asia Democracy Network Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi. Alongside his research, Vineet is a regular contributor to publications within the Indian subcontinent with his writing featured in The Hindu, The Indian Express, Huffington Post, Asia Times, Mizzima Myanmar and The New Age, Bangladesh.
