Jan Panhuysen is a PhD researcher at the Hertie School, focusing on the field of pharmaceutical economics and inequalities in healthcare. His doctoral research centres on access to pharmaceuticals, in which he is exploring, among other things, the causes and consequences of medicine shortages as part of a DFG-funded research project. He holds undergraduate degrees in International Business and a Master of Arts in International Affairs. Prior to pursuing an academic career, Jan has worked as a certified Scrum Master.
