Hiba Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Delhi, India. Coming from a background in education and curriculum design, she transitioned to a career in public policy at the Hertie School, specialising in social, climate and energy policies as well as quantitative methods. During her Professional Year Hiba worked at the GIZ Global Project on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, focusing on inclusive climate action, digitalisation and education. She also worked as a Student Assistant at the Hertie School’s Centre for Fundamental Rights in multimedia and communications, building on previous stints at think tanks and NGOs in the same field. Hiba spends much of her time thinking about how to make conversations about just transition more equitable around the world.
