Master’s students can spend a semester abroad in Sejong City, South Korea.
The KDI School of Public Policy and Management and the Hertie School have signed a memorandum of understanding for a new semester exchange programme, which will enable master’s students from both universities to study for one semester in Berlin or Sejong City.
Hertie School Master of International Affairs and Master of Public Policy students as well as students in the KDI School’s master’s programmes can go on exchange starting in the Academic Year 2023/2024.
“We are very happy to cooperate with the KDI School of Public Policy and Management and provide our students with an exciting opportunity to gain enriching international experience while pursuing their degrees at the Hertie School,” says Hertie School President Cornelia Woll. “There are many more areas of collaboration to explore in the future with the KDI School, and we are excited to expand our partnership further.”
Founded in 1997 by the Korea Development Institute (KDI), South Korea’s leading think tank on economic and social development policy, the KDI School offers doctoral programmes and master’s degrees in public policy, development and public management, with the vision of establishing an “education hub for innovative global public leaders.” The government-run school is located in Sejong City, the growing center of public administration in South Korea.
