Enrico Letta, former prime minister of Italy, has been appointed as President of our partner organisation, the Jacques Delors Institute in Paris. We congratulate Mr. Letta on his new role and are looking forward to the cooperation.

The Hertie School and the Jacques Delors Institute in Paris jointly founded the Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin in 2014. Enrico Letta replaces António Vitorino, also a former EU-Commissioner, who initiated the establishment of the institute at the request of Jacques Delors himself.
