Call for (remote) internship positions

Hire Hertie School students as interns this summer.

A lot of Hertie School students had their summer internships and student jobs cancelled or indefinitely delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are in the position to take on bright Hertie minds as (remote) interns this summer, we would love to hear from you.

Here are the key facts about hiring a Hertie School student as an intern:

  • Students do the internship as part of their Master of International Affairs (MIA) or Master of Public Policy (MPP) and are on student visa and with health insurance for the duration of the internship.
  • The internship can be 6 weeks full-time or 10 weeks part-time (20h/week) as a minimum, but can be longer too.
  • The internship can take place between the beginning of June until the end of August 2020.
  • Work can be done onsite (if at all possible) or remotely.
  • There must be a link to the study of public policy or international affairs.
  • Minimum pay = €450/month.
  • Internships that do not require German are particularly welcome!

If you would like to advertise a position for an internship (or student job or Professional Year or job entry) you can e-mail our Career Development Team at careerdevelopment@hertie-school.org, the sooner the better! Our Career Development Team will publish the call but all other aspects of  the process are managed bilaterally between students and internship organizations.

We thank you, in advance, for your support of our student community!
