Berlin Science Week: Data & Pizza - Feeding Mind and Solving World Issues, One Slice at a Time

The workshop Data and Pizza will engage participants in an interactive experience on questions such as: How does data sharing help find solutions to pressing societal problems? What are the key roles that need to be considered in advancing it – and how? By discussing different topical global headlines and zeroing in on the topics of data, cooperation, and a sustainable future, we will exchange ideas on the challenges and opportunities of data access, and data re-use for the common good – all through the magic of pizza.

The event will be hosted by Dr. Julia Staam, CEO of The Data Tank, a Brussels-based not-for-profit think and do tank, and Prof. Asya Magazinnik, Professor of Social Data Science at the Hertie School.
