This course will explore international conflict as a phenomenon of international relations, with a particular focus on prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking and post-conflict rehabilitation, including transitional justice. Structures of international armed conflict will be explored on the basis of concrete examples of the 20th and 21st centuries.
