During the last weeks, we discussed supreme courts' defending against threats to democracy, the European security architecture and much more.
Last month saw some exciting debates, calls for applications, and festivities for the Hertie School Community:
- We celebrated our 20th anniversary with the Centre for Fundamental Right's event "Judging in a constitutional democracy" with supreme court judges from Israel, Ecuador, Germany and the European Court of Human Rights;
- The Centre for International Security discussed the sad anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and its consequences for the European security architecture in yet another Hertie Futures Forum - our birthday events series;
- We called on researchers and policy practitioners to apply for the Henrik Enderlein Prize and the Henrik Enderlein Fellowship;
- Hertie School President Cornelia Woll spoke about her new book Corporate Crime and Punishment: The Politics of Negotiated Justice in Global Markets;
- Together with consulting firm PD, we opened the Public Policy Lab, where students and practitioners will work on policy cases from the real world;
- and much more.
