Helmut K. Anheier heads up project funded by five German foundations.
Foundations make a significant contribution to civil society – this, as well as the mechanisms behind foundations is being explored in a new research project spearheaded by Hertie School Dean Helmut K. Anheier in cooperation with the Center for Social Investment and Innovation at the University of Heidelberg.
The two year project is called Positioning and Contributions of German Foundations and is, fittingly, being funded by five German Foundations, namely the Hertie, Volkswagen, Mercator, Robert Bosch and Fritz Thyssen Foundations.
