The Hertie School joined the Open Society University Network (OSUN) in 2021. OSUN is a global network of educational institutions that integrates learning and the advancement of knowledge in the social sciences, the humanities, the sciences and the arts, across geographic and demographic boundaries, promotes civic engagement on behalf of open societies, and expands access to higher education for underserved communities.
Threatened Scholars Initiative
Through the Threatened Scholars Initiative, OSUN also funds fellowships for scholars who cannot remain in their home countries due to politically motivated repressions and limits on academic freedom. Visit this page for more information on the Hertie School programme for scholars at risk.
