As part of the extracurricular activities organised to support Human Rights and Global Governance MIA students, the Centre for Fundamental Rights invites students enrolled in this stream to join a study visit to the German Institute for Human Rights, and learn about:
- The German Institute for Human Rights and its role as the independent National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) for Germany;
- Engage in discussions with researchers working on the institute's focus themes: Business and Human Rights and Human Rights and the Climate Crisis.
- Take part in a guided tour of the institute's library.
Preparatory readings will be sent to students joining the tour in advance.
Registration is required. Please note that space is limited. Priority is given to students in their final year of study (2024 cohort). Nevertheless, all Human Rights and Global Governance students are encouraged to register.
