20 years Hertie School: The Past, Present and Future of Public Policy Education

20 years ago, the Hertie School was founded as a private university to build and educate future decision-makers in good governance and modern statehood. Since its inauguration, the university has set an impressive track record of growth and expansion: with more than 800 students from 80 countries, over 2,500 alumni worldwide, numerous partners and funders as well as several master's and doctoral programmes, the Hertie School has established itself as one of the top public policy schools in Europe.
