This event is co-organised by the Institut für den öffentlichen Sektor with Vitako e.V., AKDB Anstalt für Kommunale Datenverarbeitung in Bayern, KDO Kommunale Datenverarbeitung Oldenburg and Prosoz Herten GmbH.
Innovative start-ups with digital solutions for governments and public administrations will introduce their work during this event with a focus on the collaboration between start-ups and municipal IT service providers.
The external jury, chaired by Prof. Dr. Gerhard Hammerschmid (Centre for Digital Governance), will select up to five companies that will present their solutions in the areas of "Smart Public Administrations", "Sustainable Cities", "Data and Simulation" or "Automation and AI". In addition, two companies will present their answers to the "AI Challenge 2023", which addresses two real challenges for municipal IT service providers. We also seek to engage municipal IT service providers in discussions about collaboration opportunities with startups. The event will be followed by a networking reception.
This event is part of the myGovernment initiative, through which the Institut für den öffentlichen Sektor has been fostering the connection between startups and the public sector since 2016.
The event will be held in German, and in a hybrid format.
