MPP/MIA Professional Perspectives Panel: Working for a think tank

With talks byPaola Yanguas(MPP 2016), Mirko Hohmann(MPP 2014) and Max Mannweiler(MPP 2016).

Think tanks are often described as universities without students. Around 12% of Hertie graduates pursue a job entry in the field of research/think tanks. If you are curious to learn more about what it is like to work at a think tank, what the requirements are and if this is a career path for you, then this is the right event!

During this panel, alumni from the Hertie School will share their experience of working for think tanks and give valuable advice to current students: Paola Yanguas is a Climate Policy Analyst at Climate Analytics; Mirko Hohmann is a Project Manager at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) with a focus on technology, policymaking, and global security; Max Mannweiler is a project manager for European Politics and Communications at the Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin.

After short initial statements you will have plenty of time for your questions and discussion.
