Meet the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network

Join us as we discuss career opportunities for members of the Hertie School community at the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network. We will present the organisation, its professional year programme as well as their offerings for Hertie graduates in general. This will be followed by a Q&A session.

The event will be moderated by Maïté Kersaint (Manager Centre for Digital Governance).

About the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network:
The Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network is the multistakeholder organisation fostering legal interoperability in cyberspace. Its stakeholders work together to preserve the cross-border nature of the internet, protect human rights, fight abuses and enable the global digital economy. Since 2012, the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network has engaged more than 400 key entities from six stakeholder groups around the world including: governments, the world’s largest internet companies, the technical community, civil society groups, leading universities and international organisations.

Stakeholders in the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network work in currently three programs (Data & Jurisdiction, Content & Jurisdiction and Domains & Jurisdiction) to jointly develop policy standards and operational solutions to pressing legal challenges at the intersection of the global digital economy, human rights and security. The organisation is also the home of the I&J Retrospect Database tracking global trends, and the world’s first Internet & Jurisdiction Global Status Report.

You can find further information on the professional year on Hertie connect.

Please register, log-in details will be sent on the day of the event.
