The Hertie School Centre for Sustainability is a hub for teaching, research, and policy analysis. We prepare future leaders and inform the design of effective public policies for sustainability.
Faculty and researchers at the Centre for Sustainability offer a broad range of classes, introducing Hertie students to climate, energy, and sustainability topics as well as quantitative and qualitative methods.
We explore the design, governance and political economy of climate, energy, and sustainability policy. Our goal is to deliver evidence-based solutions for policymaking by evaluating existing policies and by analysing policy design options.
