Meet our Career Development team and find out how they can accompany mid-career Executive MPA students on their educational and professional journey.

On Wednesday, 12 July, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm (CEST) join us for a virtual session with our Career Development team and Prof. Salvador Parrado.

During this session we will explore how our Executive MPA programme provides just the environment for you to explore topics in management, global governance and digitalisation, learn from practitioners and exchange ideas with a tight-knit group of peers from various sectors and backgrounds across the world, thus boosting your career and professional profile.

Speakers

Salvador Parrado

  • Salvador Parrado teaches public management and public administration at the Spanish Distance Learning University (UNED) in Madrid and has been a member of the Associate Faculty at the Hertie School since 2009. He has written several reports for international organisations like OECD, SIGMA, UNDP, World Bank, IABD, CEMR, European Commission and national governments like Brazil, Chile, France, Mexico, Norway, Peru, Serbia Turkey and Spain on different public management topics. At present, he is director of Governance International (www.govint.org) and has been Associate Editor of Public Administration. His current academic research focuses on the enforcement of and compliance with COVID-19 measures and the supply and demand of policies in the areas of health and education.

Fareen Shaikh

  • Fareen Shaikh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University of Mumbai, India. She is fluent in English and Hindi. At the Hertie School, Fareen works as a Junior Consultant for Career Development.
