Apply for a scholarship and attend the European Forum Alpbach event in summer!
The European Forum Alpbach (EFA) brings together young people from Europe and from all over the world with the most innovative minds from politics, business, civil society, culture and science to drive ideas for a strong and democratic Europe. Every year, hundreds of young talents from all around the world join the EFA with a scholarship. Students, young professionals and changemakers attend a variety of scientific, competence based and artistic seminars, enjoy a high-level conference programme as well as social and cultural activities in the village of Alpbach, Austria.
A scholarship to participate in the European Forum Alpbach 2023 from 19 August–2 September 2023 is available to applicants between 18 and 30 years of age (up to 35 for African applicants) from all disciplines and countries. Applications will be accepted from 1–31 March.
In this presentation followed by a Q&A, EFA Secretary-General Feri Thierry will present the European Forum Alpbach 2023 and what it offers for young talents.
Speaker
Feri Thierry is a political consultant and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in the political sphere, specialised in communication, experienced with building and managing political organisations, and passion for democracy and participation.
In 2004 he founded his own company Thierry Politikberatung with services in the areas of public affairs and political communication. He founded the Austrian Public Affairs Association in 2011 and served as its first president.
From January 2020 to December 2021, he was managing director of the Vienna branch of the public affairs agency 365 Sherpas. Since January 2022 he has been Secretary-General of the European Forum Alpbach.
