In the past five years, the GovTech industry has seen unprecedented growth and is projected to become a $1 trillion industry by 2025, expanding even faster than growing fields like cybersecurity and FinTech. This event will introduce the student body to exciting opportunities in the GovTech sector, spotlighting opportunities in policy and project management-focused roles. The event will connect students to power players from the German GovTech ecosystem.

PUBLIC: PUBLIC helps reimagine and build digitally-enabled public services. They started as an accelerator and investor and gradually became a leading European government-focused technology company.
societec: societec is a software startup that strives to serve society through means of latest digital technology. They strive to improve collaboration with public entities to improve quality, accessibility, turn-around time, and ultimately trust in democracy using latest digital means.
GovMind: GovMind is a young technology company headquartered in Berlin that systematically collects, analyses and interprets information on GovTech solutions. Ever since they started in 2020, they have been bringing innovative solutions into use by states and administrations.
iRights.Lab: iRights.Lab consists of a team of 45 experts hailing from a wide range of disciplines. Headquartered in Berlin, but also working from eight different cities, they are active across Europe and the globe. Their team acts as an independent think tank in developing visionary strategies and practical solutions to help ensure the rapid change in an increasingly digitized world benefits society.
Technologie Stiftung Berlin: With their digital tools and solutions, they actively contribute to keeping Berlin open, sustainable and efficient. Many of their projects are flagship projects that demonstrate the opportunities of digitalisation based on examples and profile Berlin beyond city limits. With their studies and reports, they ensure that the latest technological developments are identified early on and leveraged for the transformation process.
DigitalService: As the central digitalization unit of the German federal government, DigitalService has set itself the task of sustainably advancing the digitalization of Germany and establishing agile software development and user-centered design as the standard in public administration. To this end, DigitalService builds up internal development and methodological expertise for the federal government with interdisciplinary teams. Through the Tech4Germany and Work4Germany fellowship programs, the in-house unit brings external digital experts and change experts to the federal ministries for several months to experience the benefits of new working methods and improve the implementation of digitalization projects.
