The Hertie International Relations Club is proud to present the Ambassador Series with His Excellency Hans-Peter Knudsen, Ambassador of Colombia to Germany. This event is open to the Hertie Community only.
His Excellency Hans-Peter Knudsen has been the Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the Federal Republic of Germany since November 2018. Ambassador Knudsen began his professional career in private sector companies. Furthermore, He has a background in academia and served as both dean and professor at various higher education institutions for more than 10 years. He was a member of the National Competitiveness Commission and managed the ProColombia offices for Germany and Eastern Europe. Ambassador Knudsen started his professional career in 1984 after receiving his degree in business administration from Universidad del Rosario.
This initiative led bythe International Relations Club and Hertie América Latina gives Hertie School students the opportunity to engage in an informative dialogue with top-level diplomats from diverse countries in an expressly informal setting - without the rigidity created by the presence of media representatives and other third parties. It poses a unique opportunity for students of public policy to gain first-hand experience of the diplomatic profession. This event is part of the 2019-20 edition of the Ambassador Series at the Hertie School.
