For prospective students

Open Week faculty lecture: How effective is Germany's COVID-19 contact tracing app?

A lecture by Simon Munzert, Assistant Professor of Data Science and Public Policy, and his research on Germany's Corona-Warn-App.

Simon Munzert's new research shows that Germany's contact tracing “Corona Warn-App” is underused by those who have heightened risk of exposure to COVID-19, and that monetary incentives – even small ones – can dramatically increase the number of downloads, especially among young people.

On Monday, 15 March, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm CET, join us online for a very relevant lecture by our Assistant Professor of Data Science and Public Policy, who has taught Hertie School courses on data science, web data collection and social media mining, and election forecasting.

Please register to attend the lecture.
